AFM Environmental Policy
We, AFM Castings (AFM Casting Company Co., Ltd), are an independent company supplying metal castings, cast components, industrial services, and sourcing from Vietnam and Asia Worldwide.
We have experience in casting and controlling production quality complied with Australian Standards, American Standards, and European Standards. We also can apply other Standards and Sourcing platforms with High-Quality Control.
AFM Castings is a professional and environmentally conscious organization that acknowledges the impact that our operations, products, and/or services may potentially have on the environment. As an organization, we are committed to protecting the local and global environment of the Earth. We aim to balance our economic, environmental, and social responsibilities by ensuring all our activities have a minimum impact and help contribute to creating supportive, vibrant, and sustainable communities that provide and encourage the natural environment.
We aim to achieve this by implementing the following environmental principles:
Adopt an environmental policy that is consistent across the Company.
Determine and evaluate the fulfillment of environmental compliance obligations as well as alignment to the Vietnam Environment Administration (VEA) requirements by ensuring operations are by them.
Protect the environment and preserve the natural habitat on AFM sites and/or locations by preventing pollution, reducing waste, and minimizing the consumption of resources.
Continually improving environment internal management to enhance environmental performance.
Provide appropriate education and training for all personnel to carry out tasks in an environmentally responsible manner.
Encourage ethical environmental practice and behavior both within the Company and contractors/subcontractors/suppliers with whom we work.
Complete internal audits and correct non-conformities to follow a path of continuous improvement.
AFM Castings is committed to ensuring that the protection of the environment is firmly embedded in the companyโs and its employeeโs culture as well as endeavors to influence its suppliers and customers in a similar strategic environmental manner.
It is the responsibility of all employees of AFM to ensure that the Environmental System Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, and practices are understood, implemented, and maintained as they apply in the performance of their functional duties. AFM will ensure to incorporate these principles into its business planning process, to provide the framework for setting appropriate environmental objectives and targets.
A copy of this Environmental Policy shall be displayed and it is the responsibility of management and supervisory staff to ensure that it is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the Company.
